3. Contact the school: Oftentimes, many students do not get enough information even after searching out the website and FAQ; if you are in this category, do not despair. You can write to the school administrator regarding any questions you might have. On the school’s website is written the contact number and email that you can reach if you have specific questions that have not been dealt with in the FAQ. Before you do this, make sure you have done your due diligence, as it is important that you learn to take initiative on your own. The rule here is to take initiative and maintain a professional tone. Here, you can ask about their funding policy and other delicate information not written on the website. The rule here is to ask intelligent questions. Note that this correspondence between you and them might be used to evaluate your ability to take initiative and proactivity.

5. Ask a current student: Most school websites have a page for current students and even alumni that you can reach out to if you need to ask certain questions that would not ordinarily be on the school’s website or FAQ. For instance, you might want to know a student’s opinion on a particular program that you are considering.
